Our Experts
Andrew Lockhart-Mirams for legal advice – specialises in GP and NHS Regulatory work leading the NHS Commercial Team at Lockharts Solicitors. Andrew founded specialist healthcare firm Lockharts in 1995. He leads the NHS Commercial Team and regularly advises practices and provider companies on partnership issues, practice developments, practice mergers and acquisitions, and PCT/Darzi tendering.
Andrew Motley for personal and practice financial and property advice – specialises in providing advice to members of the Medical and Dental Professions with more than 21 years experience. He has particular expertise in arranging the finance of new and existing surgery developments in the most tax efficient way.
Rosemary Smith – Healthcare Manager, Tenon.
Based in Tenon’s Nottingham office, Rosemary’s role is to promote Tenon in the medical sector throughout central England. She runs courses to help GP surgeries, both the doctors and practice managers, to maximise their profits and ensure they are producing the correct financial information, and explaining to them how Tenon Group can help them achieve this.
Rosemary joined Tenon after spending ten years at a specialist medical accountants. Her role covered all aspects of work for the medical profession including GP practices, consultants, dentists, pharmacies, locums and specialist areas. She was also involved with contract negotiations with both GMS and PMS contracts, and latterly APMS contracts.
Rosemary’s specialist knowledge of the medical services sector has led to her touring the country lecturing on various subjects from the new contract to superannuation, and providing training, nationally, on specific GP Accounts packages and VAT. In addition she has written for most of the major medical publications, most commonly Pulse, where she writes alongside Tenon’s Bob Senior on the ‘Ask The Expert’ panel.
